Excerpt from Christians, A Peculiar People by Jacqueline Peart   Sometimes we can fall into a false sense of security amidst the praise without any real CHANGE taking place. We leave with only our FLESH, not our SPIRIT, being challenged, aroused or stimulated to give us the fix we need until next Sunday or another Preacher comes to town.   We all want a revival, we've prayed for it, sung about it and heard about it happening in different parts of the world. But it's time for us to realise that revival is not external to us or ends with us but it starts with us.     It's time to let God be God in our lives to see the world and our nations and generations come to Jesus, so He can turn their lives around - all their lives, their “could have been's”, “their never again's”, their doubts, their fears, their uncertainties and their heart's secret desires. God is still able! This world has turned to cults, gangs, hedonism, false religions, tarot cards, mediums and spiritualists in a search for what we know they're missing: Jesus Christ! The world looks for emotive things, things that will satisfy the flesh instead of looking deeper within for what their real need is. The church still has the answer; His name is Jesus Christ!   It's time to clean up friends, it's time to take stock of where you are and let God prepare you to be the church He created you to be. Ephesians 5:27 says, “that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”   As you read through this section, my prayer is that God will highlight the spots, wrinkles and blemishes in your life that need His forgiveness, need His healing, need His direction, need His love, grace and mercy! The question is, are you ready to change? Are you ready to take a look at yourself as God uses the detergent of His love to clean and cleanse you? Are you ready to become the glorious church of Jesus Christ?   Then get ready to be challenged and inspired to change…
