The fourth in the series of conferences hosted by Jacqueline Peart Ministries
The purpose of this conference was to restore peace (wholeness/shalom) to the attendees. Many people have and are believing God for different things such as marriages, ministries to flourish, buildings to be bought, wombs to bring forth fruit and loved ones to be saved. There are times in our walk when we can become frustrated by the wait and hence lose our peace. This conference is an oasis for those who find themselves in the desert of waiting.
Poetic Expression
Peace in the Waiting
Frustrated by the waiting,
Irritated by the delay,
Unsure whether your hopes and prayers
will ever come to pass
For time seems to be slipping away.
I've heard so many say…
'I've prayed and I've fasted,
Tithed and given offerings,
I've sowed and I've planted
Yet my own harvest I'm yet to reap.
I've been praying for my life partner,
Surely my ministry is over due,
When will my business finally take off?
I've been renting long enough; surely it's time for that
new home and building - and the prices keep on rising.
We've been trying for a baby for so many years now
Lord, when will my children turn back and serve You?
My knees are sore from praying!’
You need Peace in the waiting!
I don't know when and how your hopes and dreams will be realised,
I can't begin to explain the 'whys', 'whens' and 'hows'.
But one thing I know with all certainty and confidence,
Is God has never failed us yet!
Each morning that you wake up is a testimony of His faithfulness,
The breath He breathes into you a sign that it's not over yet.
It's recorded that Noah waited 80 years before one drop of rain fell.
I'm sure at times He wondered when and if He truly heard from God
As his friends, neighbours and enemies taunted him with laughter and ridicule.
However, at the appointed time, not only did it rain but it flooded!
So when you've done with all your 'ifs', 'buts' and 'whys'
Know that when you've waited, not only will the blessings rain down on your situation, but they'll flood in and overtake you!
So today, be encouraged and ask God to be YOUR PEACE IN THE WAITING!

Key Scripture
He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak. Even the youths shall be exhausted, and the young men will all give up. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:29-31 LB
