Your Future - A New Dimension
Today's the day to make up your mind.
Today's the day to move on in the right direction;
Upwards, outwards and forwards - no backwards allowed,
For it's your future we're talking about.
A new dimension if you choose.
I feel like today is a day for decisions,
One where there'll be no looking back and no turning back,
No regrets, no if only's or may be, just some made up minds.
With one simple word you can decide
To make it or to fake it,
To go for it or reside in your comfort zone;
The choice is yours
For as you utter it, you can have it.
You see, our tongues have the power to create.
Today's the day, fellow sojourner, to go over to the progressing side.
It certainly won't always be easy,
Not everyone will like it.
Some will positively hate to see you move on
As they secretly wish it was them.
Don't let that put you off, but let it push you on!
Make a decision about your new dimension.
That's what these words are encouraging you to do.
It's preparing you, encouraging and developing you to fulfil your vision and be all God created you to be.
So make a decision that will count.
No point whispering it,
Musing on it or thinking about it.
You see, many a dream has remained in the imagination phase,
The 'one-day-I-will' phase,
'When-the-kids-get-older' phase,
'When-I-have-enough-money-in-the-bank' phase.
So many dreams rest in peace in a graveyard;
Don't let your dreams be one of them!
Today you choose the focus and direction for your new dimension!
You alone know what it will be.
Maybe it's that new business you've been talking about,
That expansion or specialism;
Is it that new building, that ministry, that invention you've been wrestling with?
What is it for you?
What's your future's new dimension?
You choose Sister,
And move on in it today!

Key Scripture
The Lord called Samuel a third time, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "here I am; you called me." Then Eli realised that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, "go and lie down, and if He calls you, say, 'Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and laid down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel! " Then Samuel said, "speak, for your servant is listening." And the Lord said to Samuel: "See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle."
1 Samuel 3:8-11 NIV
